Congressman Arch A. Moore, Jr. reviewing the coal industry presentation on the necessity to restrict residual fuel oil imports and to maintain a mandatory imports program with the Industry's officials. Dr. Potter presented testimony on behalf of the bituminous coal operators and the United Mine Workers, pointing out the abuses that result from imported foreign oil upon the economy of coal producing states and the miners.
